‘Best 2016 Marketing Campaign’ for resource

It’s been a record breaking year for resource, so what better way to crown it than by winning the prestigious Print Week award for Best Marketing Campaign! The CommsHero brand was first created by resource in May 2014. It was our intention to challenge the conventional Comms and Marketing conference, making for a more interactive and rewarding event for its delegates, whilst assembling a room of clients and prospects to challenge and demonstrate exactly what resource is capable of. Little did we know that CommsHero would create such a cult following and nearly three years and 7 events later it has become the key icebreaker tactic behind resource’s marketing strategy. We believe results are everything, so it was fitting that the Print Week judges spoke of just that in our awards entry. “Don’t forget the results of the campaign,” they reminded themselves, for a category rewarding the best marketing project to promote its own business. And it did just that, rolling out 45 delegate meetings, a 53% jump in twitter followers and £1.3m of new business. Leaving one judge to sum up, “you just can’t argue with the results because in marketing that’s what matters”.
