Each December, we come together as a team to give back to our community through our annual CauseWeCare initiative. It’s a tradition that means a great deal to us, especially at a time of year that can be particularly difficult for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
This year, our focus turned to local care homes and the incredible carers who support their residents every day with patience, dignity and compassion. We wanted to create something thoughtful, personal and uplifting, something that would bring a moment of joy during the festive season.
Our studio team and resident quiz-master designed a bespoke activity booklet tailored for older adults, including those living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Filled with gentle brain-training puzzles, festive quizzes and hand illustrated colouring pages, the booklet was crafted to spark memories, encourage engagement and drive creativity.
Once complete, our production team brought everything to life, producing the booklets alongside greeting cards on our digital printer with die-cut pop-out baubles. We then visited local care homes to hand-deliver the packs a chance to meet residents and carers, share conversations and see first-hand the smiles these small gestures can bring.
We also wanted to recognise the dedication of the carers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Each was given a handwritten card and a supermarket voucher, a small token of thanks for everything they do, day in and day out.
“It was lovely to meet you both today! Thank you so much for bringing gifts for our residents and staff. You really made our day, have a fab Christmas.”

Kate Staniforth, our Marketing Manager, shared her personal connection to the project:
“It’s been a great project to work on. Having recently lost my Grandad to Alzheimer’s, I’ve seen first-hand how small gifts like this can really make a difference to the wellbeing of others living with this difficult illness. It’s been a privilege to spread a little joy to the residents and carers.”
As a business, we’re proud to empower our colleagues to support initiatives like this. It brings a real sense of pride and reminds us why social value is such an important part of who we are. Being able to use our skills to do good, creatively, meaningfully and locally, is something we never take for granted.
