At this time of year, the spirit of giving feels more important than ever and this festive season, our long-standing client Ongo has set themselves an incredible challenge. As a housing association rooted in community impact, they’ve pledged to collect 100 gifts to donate to a selection of local charities, including Blue Door, RSPCA, Cat-titude n Whiskers, The Arc, Viking Centre, and their homelessness team.
We’ve partnered with Ongo for eight years, supporting them across design, print and mailing projects, so when we heard about their ambitious festive challenge, we knew we wanted to get involved.
To help them reach their goal, we donated:
- 10 supermarket vouchers (total value £100), offering a little extra support to those who need it most
- 100 bespoke festive greetings cards, designed and printed by our team, to accompany every donated gift
It’s a simple gesture, but small touches like a personalised card can make each gift feel more meaningful and more human.
We were delighted to receive this feedback from our client contact, which really brought home what this project means at a personal level:
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you from all of us. They are brilliant, we’re so pleased with them! Thanks to you all, we’ll be able to share a card with each gift and also help towards gifts with the vouchers! This will make someone’s Christmas that little bit easier. So, thank you.” – Lucy Taurone, PR & Communications
Hearing this reinforces why we prioritise supporting our clients’ social value initiatives — because these gestures truly matter.
Why this matters to us
As a business, supporting social value initiatives sits at the heart of who we are. We’re proud to partner with organisations who share our belief in community, kindness and positive impact. When our clients strive to do good, we want to stand alongside them.
Taking part in this project was about using the skills and resources we have to support a cause that matters and it was about reinforcing our commitment to working with clients who not only do great work, but who also care about the world around them.
A shared commitment to community
We’re inspired by Ongo’s dedication and proud to play a small role in their festive challenge. Together, we hope these 100 gifts, and the handwritten messages that go with them, bring a little joy and kindness to people and organisations who need it this festive season.
