Earlier this week, we launched the first edition of on*paper at the Inside Housing Communications Conference.
At a time when content is increasingly digital, when inboxes are full before the working day has even started, and when most of us spend our days moving between emails, notifications and social media feeds, we’ve chosen to launch a print-only publication.
Deliberately.
Not because digital doesn’t work. It does. We use it every day.
But because there’s value in creating something that asks a little more of the reader. Something that encourages people to slow down, put their phone down for ten minutes and engage with an idea without a notification competing for their attention.
That’s what on*paper was created to do.
The first edition brought together a collection of articles exploring communication in housing, a special edition for the launch at Inside Housing.
The response suggested we weren’t alone in thinking there was room for something different. A thought leadership newsletter for communications professionals which demands full attention.

Our ambition is to create a platform for interesting thinking across the industries we work in. A place where communications, marketing and engagement professionals can share experiences, challenge conventional thinking and contribute to conversations that matter.
And that’s where you come in.
Future editions won’t just feature articles from the Resource team. We’re looking for contributors with something to say. Whether it’s a fresh perspective on audience engagement, lessons learned from a recent campaign, reflections on emerging trends or an opinion piece on an issue affecting your sector, we’d love to hear it.
The best thought leadership comes from the people working within the role every day, sharing their experiences, expertise and ideas.
That’s exactly what we want on*paper to become.
A publication that people look forward to receiving. A platform that showcases the voices shaping their industries. And somewhere that sparks conversations long after the paper has been folded up and put down.
The first edition of on*paper may have landed, but we’re already looking ahead to what’s next.
If you’d like to contribute an article, share your expertise or be featured in a future edition, we’d love to start a conversation.
