Prolific North shortlist

Changing minds, changing futures, earning recognition.

We’re delighted to announce that our Keep the Door Open campaign, delivered in partnership with the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership, has been shortlisted for Best Public Sector & Not-for-Profit Campaign at the Prolific North Awards 2026.

The campaign was created to challenge attitudes towards knife carrying among young people across West Yorkshire. Built on extensive audience insight and shaped by the voices of young people themselves, the campaign used authentic storytelling, music and targeted communications to encourage safer choices and help protect future opportunities.

What makes this recognition particularly special is the impact the campaign achieved. Through a combination of engaging creative, strategic media planning and a behaviour change approach, the campaign reached millions of people across the region, while helping to shift perceptions around the realities of knife carrying.

Being shortlisted reflects the collaboration, passion and expertise that went into the campaign from everyone involved. Most importantly, it highlights the power of communications to support meaningful social change and spark conversations that can make a real difference within communities.

We’re proud of the entire team behind the campaign and would like to thank the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership for their trust, support throughout the project.

Congratulations to all the finalists, and we look forward to celebrating with peers from across the industry at the awards ceremony on the 19th November in Manchester.
