CommsHero the triple award-winning marketing and communications conference delivered by resource has just held 3 sell-out events in one month. The theme was ‘Dare to Fail’ and resource’s ambition is testament to this, having received tremendous acclaim from over 200 paying delegates, not to mention the cult-following on social media which saw #CommsHero trending on twitter, reaching over 120,000 accounts for each of the 3 days across Cardiff, London and Manchester.
resource was recently awarded ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ by Print Week for CommsHero. Its a co-brand that was born out of challenging the traditional conference convention, whilst celebrating the great work we all do in Marketing and Communications, whatever our role. All revenue received from each event is reinvested back into CommsHero to up the level of engagement, including personalised marketing material and branded crowd-sourced merchandise, making it a truly unique experience.
All creative, marketing, production and print for CommsHero is produced in-house at resource. “Its the best way of demonstrating what we do”, says Asif Choudry, Sales and Marketing Director. “The delegates are made up of clients, prospects and key influencers and we like to think we know what they want, because the level of engagement received at each event is truly phenomenal.”
This year’s CommsHero speaker line up included marketing expert and best selling author Grant Leboff, ‘Social for the People’ impresario Helen Reynolds, Innovation Coach – Paul Taylor, CIM Marketing Consultant – Luan Wise, Visual Communications Expert – Fran O’Hara, HR Consultant – Tim Scott, Halton Housing CEO – Nick Atkin. Not forgetting the amazing ‘Chair’s’ Social Enterprise Expert – Paul Diggory, Head of Sales and Marketing for Aster Group – Amy Nettleton and RHP Group Head of Engagement – Chloe Marsh. Manchester’s climax event even included a guest appearance from recent BBC Apprentice Candidate Rebecca Jeffery.
