As a female leader within my business, I am often asked how I got to my position, what was my journey, what were my challenges, what would I do differently, who inspired me and so on…

I was asked this question again just this week, as we celebrate Women’s Day on the 8^th March.  This year we support Accelerating Action, which is a favourite topic of mine, as without women supporting, sponsoring, encouraging and campaigning with and for other women, especially our younger generation, any action for women may be stilted.

Naturally honoured to be asked about my journey, but instead I would like to shout out the women in my business who amaze and inspire me every day.  In quite a male-dominated work environment, it delights me to see these ladies rising to the top of their game, bringing new skills, personalities, innovation and creativity every day.   Their commitment, support, drive and passion are a blessing, and I sincerely hope that their journeys will be as spontaneous, exhilarating, challenging, and fun as mine has been.

Kate Staniforth

Kate is our marketing and social guru, account manager and sidekick. Kate joined Resource as a Digital Marketing Graduate nearly 4 years ago.  Her progression and impact shows that there is nothing this young woman cannot achieve; she is enthusiastic, creative, dedicated, totally organised and a wonderful ambassador for our team.  This Girl definitely Can! 💪

Mandy Bell

Mandy is our Finance Queen and like me, has been in this game a long time – lots of experience, still up for a challenge, full of wisdom and always there for a cuppa and a chat.  A single mum who has worked, juggled, studied and achieved.  What an inspiration 🤩

Sophie-Anne Bourgeois

Sophie joined our team a year ago as an Account Executive and what an impact she has had!  Sophie is our Tik-Tok star, with a voice made of silk she is making her mark in all the right places.  Her determination, can-do approach and keeping the boys in check, are all testament to her achievements and whilst her journey is just beginning who knows where it will end?! 🙌

Erin Docherty

Erin joined our Creative Studio less than a year ago and packed a female punch from the word go…  Our Glasgow lassie is nothing short of wonderful, she has such enthusiasm and drive it is infectious and has worked on some of our biggest campaigns.  Totally focused on her career journey, but always there to support others, offer up solutions and advice.  She is the real deal, and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her 💗

Georgia Whitworth

Georgia joined our team last year on a graduate placement scheme.  She is a junior art-worker with big dreams. A complete delight; always smiling, always learning and engaging and determined to show us exactly what she is made of. So early in her own career journey and open to all eventualities which is exactly how it should be. Her keen eye for creativity and diversity means she wears her acceleration on her sleeve.  I am watching her space! ⭐️

Debbie Bryden

Our heavenly Debbie is no longer here with us in person, but I know continues to shine down on us all, smiling, encouraging and leading us through our everyday challenges.  My true inspiration and friend. We will all ensure your legacy lives on 🥰
