Objective

To mark the 15-year anniversary of Halton Housing they wanted to bring together their 350 colleagues from across the organisation to celebrate their success and achievements over the years via a fun and light-hearted awards event. With many colleagues working from home there was a need to deliver a virtual event to lift people’s spirits. 

How Did Resource Help?

We worked with Halton Housing to discuss the brief and requirements for the event. We decided to use Airmeet to facilitate the event as it could provide virtual live backstage areas, breakout rooms and 1:1 tables. The platform could also be fully branded. From the initial brief to the event itself we were on hand to help with any questions and ensure that the event went off without a hitch.  

To compliment the virtual event, we produced and delivered some teaser communications and a physical pack to be opened by each attendee on the day of the event. This created a cohesive end-to-end colleague experience quite different from what they had experience before.  We designed, printed and posted a colleague engagement pack directly to their homes, there pre-event packs created lots of conversation and excitement ahead of the event. The packs included popcorn, party poppers and branded vouchers and bingo cards. 

What Did Success Look Like?

The event was really well received across the organisation and the positive feedback kept rolling in weeks after the event. The pack created a buzz and excitement before and during the event. Colleagues fed back that they felt valued and enjoyed attending the event, they expressed how relaxed they felt and how they thought the whole event was seamless.
