Empowering Learning from Home: Bridgend College’s Personalised Support Packs

OBJECTIVE

During lockdown, Bridgend College students learned from home, requiring support materials to boost engagement and well-being. The college aimed to provide branded learning packs to motivate and encourage students, including well-being messages reflecting its culture.

HOW DID RESOURCE HELP?

We collaborated to craft a pack featuring educational, well-being, and positive messaging. It was brightly branded to align with the college’s identity and culture. Personalisation was emphasised, beginning with the packaging to engage students upon delivery.

The pack components consisted of an outer box with a personalised sleeve, A5 letter and A5 notebook, a 16pp mindfulness colouring book, revision sheets, and additional treats. 

WHAT DID SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

In just 12 days, we produced and shipped 3,000 packs, from design to delivery. The campaign garnered high engagement levels, with students expressing gratitude for the personalised packs and ongoing college support on social media.

As a Carbon Balanced Printer, Resource was able to design, print and mail these personalised packs, which meant the World Land Trust were able to protect 32m2 square meters of critically threatened tropical forest and offset 167 kg of carbon dioxide.
